I'm excited for the next one. I was playing around with a "survival" base building game where I was making walls and you could right click to rotate, and left click to place with an isometric camera. It definitely took a minute to get used to the raycasting and translating it into a worldspace where it followed the mouse and didn't divert by just translating it to the ground.


Yeah it's definitely tricky! I was doing it in a complicated way for a while until I figured out a super easy way.


It's crazy how much this level of polish really adds to the immersion of the game!
